Surfing runs in the Florence brothers’ blood. And, even though both surfers build different life with their passions, the sibling duo knows how to show off their skills in the sea. John John Florence, is a 30-year-old two-time world champion. While Nathan Florence is a 29-year-old surfing YouTuber who posts vlogs and reels of his staunch moves on the water on social media.

Despite choosing different paths, the two brothers still like to surf together and showcase their talent. Recently, John John Florence before Corona Open J-Bay was seen hitting the water with his brother Nathan Florence. The surfer posted a reel of two brothers enjoying quality time together.

John John Florence and Nathan Florence: The Surfing Dynamic Duo

On July 13, John John Florence posted a reel captioned “We love surfing” while tagging Nathan Florence. The minute-long video started with a cinematic shot of the ocean as the two brothers slid into the water. In the next scene, John John was seen riding a swell while Nathan, following his brother, did a complete zigzag on the next swell and joined his brother in the water. Later, Nathan showed some extraordinary moves as the young talent continuously zigzagged effortlessly through three huge barrels. The video also has a distant shot of the two brothers curving through the water.

Nathan Florence chose a very distinctive path for himself. In an interview, the brother of a surfing legend stated that he likes to live for the adrenaline and survive 15-foot swells with his friends. However, despite their different views of life, the siblings seem to share a lovely bond. Fans also appreciated the talent of the Florence brothers and expressed their love for not only them but their mother as well.

Fans Show Their Admiration For the Duo

With more than 230k views, this video was a treat for Florence Duo fans. They were quick to react to the video, as one wrote, “Looks Like You Are Dancing Together”. While one fan wrote a note appreciating the siblings’ mother, “I gotta say this. BIG PROPS to Mama Florence for raising these boys. I’ve watched these boys grow up in front of my eyes in the water since they were at least 5 years old. Props to Mama Florence for keeping them out of trouble and all of the bad distractions Hawaii has by being isolated in the middle of the pond. And giving the surfing world good examples of humble and absolutely elite-skilled surfers and watermen.”

Moreover, one fan praising their skill stated, “He comes out of a 9 out of 10 barrel like nothing. Not even a small claim.” Nathan Florence also left a comment under his brother’s post: “We are bros, and we did the surfing together.”

Both athletes truly share an enormous talent and a lovely bond. Hopefully, in the next wave season, the surfing duo will showcase more of these moves.
