Surfing is the only sport where the athletes are supposed to wait for a huge wave to run through them. Numerous surfing videos on the Internet receive hilarious fan reactions for their comic essence in the water. 2 months ago, a video went viral on the Internet where Jamie O’Brien hopped into a daring challenge with his girlfriend. They were seen surfing through the stormy waves and in cloudy weather at Pearl Harbour, Oahu. Jamie is known for not limiting his surfing to official sports measurements only, he always digs for new adventures and challenges. 

Recently, a similar video was shared on social media where an unknown surfer could be seen enjoying his ride in way too large waves. Luckily, nobody got hurt during the scene. The video was captured from a balcony when a flood hit an unidentified city. While the water flooded out of the sea and began to overflow in nearby lands, a surfer was caught battling it out with the sea.

The video was posted on Instagram by ‘Yoo Humor,’ an Instagram handle, who wrote in a fun way, “They say he’s still surfing .” And the man who captured the video from his home could be heard screaming in shock and describing the video. 

Many notable surfers have died surfing in stormy weather. If a large wave knocks the surfer off-board, then it becomes quite difficult for the surfer to stand again on his feet. This happened in many cases, including the devastating case of Zander Venezia in 2017. Although, the viewers and the surfer in this recent video seem unaware of the danger. Hence, the video was much liked by the surfing fans, as they hailed the surfer as an icon.

The post has over one million likes on Instagram.  Fans were stunned by the video, as one user said, “That wave was approximately 11 meters high. Mfer is surfing a goddamn tsunami.” Another user made a hilarious remark and said, “Death is scared of bro.” A surfing fan said, “Bro is screaming “they don’t know me, son.” One also commented on the video maker’s shocked reaction, saying, “I love how the announcer goes OH!, then oh like he thinks that he just witnessed a man surf to his death.” Many more fun comments could be seen, like, “The man, the myth, the legend.”
