After commenting on Dana White’s F**k it Fridays series, Slater recently commented on Max Holloway’s recent phenomenal performance at the UFC. Referring to Holloway’s recent victory at UFC Kansas City, Slater posted a heartwarming comment on his Instagram story.

Holloway had turned around the match in the final moments of the game, amazing thousands of fans and Kelly Slater. Defending himself against a low kick aimed by Allen in round one, Holloway moved forward, aiming a kick at Allen’s shin. While Allen aimed a body kick later, Holloway strongly retaliated with a body kick.

Later, while Allen attempted to get Holloway on his back foot, Holloway aimed a leg kick at Allen, post which both fighters retreated briefly. As the fight continued, Allen and Holloway begin to bleed, with blood dripping from their left eye.

In the last round of the match, with just the final two minutes remaining, Holloway aimed a body kick at Allen, to which Allen launched a counterattack, sending Holloway to the mat temporarily. Recovering quickly, Holloway got up and hit Allen hard, just before the match ended, securing a narrow victory. Responding to this win, Kelly Slater shared, “Congrats @blessedmma with a master class yesterday at @ufc.” This shows Slater’s deep interest in UFC matches. Surprisingly, Slater not only keeps up with the news but also loves to collaborate with UFC fighters. Once, the surfing legend collaborated with a popular UFC fighter who shared his experience.

The UFC fighter Israel Adesanya shared an image where he was surfing with Kelly Slater on his Twitter account with the caption, “Surfs up.” He also penned, “I learned a lot today by observing a master at work this evening,” referring to Slater’s surfing prowess. But there is more.

Adesanya also disclosed that he had three surfing sessions where he practiced surfing. Additionally, indicating how surfing was not a piece of cake, Adesanya expressed happiness that Slater saw him surf for the first time.
