Seals have good vision underwater, which helps them in surfing. The surfers often came in face to face with the seals while surfing in huge waves. A few days ago, a seal surfing video went viral where a seal could be seen enjoying around a surfer and later hopping on the surfboard. Thousands of viewers watched the video and loved it. A baby seal was captured this time, learning to surf in large seas.

A baby seal named Sammy was seen enjoying his delightful time surfing at San Diego’s Tourmaline Surf Park. A surfer holds the board by floating in the water while the seal tries to hop over it, and once it gains balance on board, he enjoys the wave rides through him. The video was shared online yesterday by ABC News, where the seal is witnessed spending his quality time surfing. First, the seal tries to gain balance after climbing on the board while the surfer tries to give him speed.

The surfer swims along with the board to maintain balance while this charming seal enjoys the morning sunshine in surfing. Not only does he sits on the board, but he even gains momentum and surfs through the waves coming in. Soon, the two seem to build a strong bond of trust, and both of them surf on the board. The video was captured with a drone camera. This is the same beloved seal Sammy that made the surfers’ day in the Pacific. 

Sammy drove the surfers crazy in the Pacific 

According to the CNN News source, the favorite surfing seal came to the Pacific for days and enjoyed his time with other surfers. He just came there and climbed on the boards of surfers, which the surfers also thoroughly enjoyed. Earlier, the surfers thought there might be a shark in the water that made baby Sammy seek security on boards, but after inspection by the Seaworld rescue team, Sammy was found in a completely healthy environment. He is just a darling to surfers by his nature.

Sammy is now a famous seal surfer who does not feel intimated by the human surfing crowd. He rather enjoys the playful time with surfers. A surfer said, “A moment of pure happiness for me,” after surfing with pup Sammy.
