Of the many people who have voiced out their opinions on Lia Thomas, American rapper Boosie BadAzz is the latest addition to the list. Controversy has surrounded Lia Thomas ever since she was allowed to compete in the women’s swimming category, becoming the first transgender woman to win the NCAA Championships.

According to critics and fellow competitors, it was unfair that Thomas was allowed to compete in women’s swimming as she was once a contender in the men’s competition.

Opening on the same, Rapper Boosie BadAzz opined about transgender athletes. He believes that Lia should not be allowed to compete at the women’s event, as it’s completely unfair.

American rapper gives his take on transgender athlete Lia Thomas

The rapper gave an interview with DJ Vlad in mid-March, a little after Lia had won the NCAA championships. Notably, Thomas represented the University of Pennsylvania senior team then. Before the covid-19 pandemic enforced lockdown, Thomas competed for 3 years in the men’s team.

“Cheater,” began the American rapper. He went ahead to point out her respective ranks at both events to make a point.

“Four-sixty-two and he’s No. 1 in the women, cheater. That’s the only thing you can think of. Cheater. That’s saying, a guy who makes an F yearly ’round, passes the ACT with an A. No, you cheated. That’s how I feel about that situation,” he said.

The rapper went ahead to make several comments on the champion swimmer. He is of the opinion that letting Lia compete in the women’s event is going to set a bad example for future generations.

Boosie Badazz ruthlessly attacks champion swimmer

Boosie was quick to admit that he was “not happy” at all with this decision. According to him, this decision will have consequences in the future.

“Let them women have their glory, man. We let that sh** go down and [in] five, 10 years, they gon’ have kids raising their children to be big strong m**********,” said the rapper.

He appeared quite disappointed in the “world” for this. He said, “F*** y’all mean. It’s this world. I ain’t happy with it, I’m just in it. I ain’t happy with it at all.”

Despite what public opinion states, Lia Thomas remains the new NCAA Champion. While her participation in the races remains questionable, she’d hope her accolades prove to be the answers.
