Being a swimmer and preparing for the Olympics is not an easy thing. It takes multiple hours of daily training for swimmers to reach that level. This can be a mentally and physically exhausting task. But swimming legend Michael Phelps loves spending his time in the pool.

One of the things that makes Michael different from the lot is his work ethic. He has won 28 medals in the Olympics, and his advice for any other swimmer will surely be a golden key. Once, he advised five-time Olympic gold winner Missy Franklin, who had a very different reaction to it.

The advice of Michael Phelps

Missy Franklin has won the Olympic gold medals in 100m backstroke and 400-meter freestyle relay. During an interview, Michael Phelps tells the media that he has asked Missy to call him for anything, but still, Missy has not reached out to him. He stated, “I said you could call me, text me, do whatever you need, ask me any questions, but she hasn’t. This week will be a completely different experience for her.”`

Phelps continued and said Missy has so much energy, “When we were doing a media day in France recently, I was looking at her, thinking, how do these girls have so much energy? It’s non-stop.”
