During what should have been an idyllic summer day at Loretta Lynch’s Ranch in Tennessee, Sarah’s father, received the heart-wrenching news that his beloved 7-year-old daughter would never walk again. The day took a tragic turn while Sarah and her older sister were joyfully swimming in the creek. Without warning, an unsuspecting teenager leaped from a towering rock. He accidentally landed on Sarah’s back, propelling her into the depths of the creek. The impact resulted in a severe head injury.

“Somebody came running and yelling at us that Sarah had been in a bad accident, and she couldn’t feel her legs,” the devastated father recounted, his heart sinking at the mere thought.
