“I Am A Psycho In..”- Legend Michael Phelps Had The Most Layman Reaction After Witnessing Heroic Horses at Kentucky Derby Event

Even with the cloudy sky, the 148th Kentucky Derby witnessed a huge turnaround. The event was jam-packed with some of the most renowned faces in the country. Amongst the guest were also Swimming legend Michael Phelps and his wife Nicole Phelps, who were awestruck by the performances on a slightly damp track. The couple certainly had a great time being part of such an amazing race.

It was a race to remember, as the Rich Strike cut to the inside to beat two favorites, Zandon and Epicenter, to the finish line. From 17th position to being first at the finish line, it was an unbelievable performance by Rich Strike. The horse certainly made everyone’s day and the crowd roared in cheer after watching an incredible feat like this.

What does Michael Phelps have to say about the race?

Well, the swimming legend was thrilled after watching something as extraordinary as this. About the event, Michael said, “I am a psycho in technical things. So today when the track started getting wet, I was like ‘Who’s gonna win’ and I am trying to get all these different sides.” However, not just Michael but perhaps no one could have predicted this result at the start of the race.

Elaborating on his experience at the race, he further added, “it’s impressive watching these animals do what they do. It is just my second time here. It is so special. I don’t know what to say. I’m a scatter-brain. I am excited.”

Who all were present at the Kentucky Derby?

Apart from the swimming legend, there were a host of celebrities present at the race on Saturday. The list included former President Donald Trump, Rapper Jack Harlow, Miss USA Elle Smith, and host Amanda Kloots. It was like every known face has turned up for the event and what was worth the race was also a treat to witness.

Rich Strike has become a hero overnight. Taking into consideration that Rich Strike’s victory was the greatest odds upset since 1913, it was definitely something to be cherished forever.
