The 2024 Olympic year has begun and all athletes are rolling their sleeves for the ultimate competition. However, things might look different for one of the ideal swimmers Ariarne Titmus. Days after confessing about her Paris goals, Titmus’s recent update has taken all the swimming enthusiasts by surprise.

She is one of the most rooted swimmers for the Olympics and all eyes are set on her for graceful performances. But Titmus might be giving different hints to all her followers on social media. Her post about another sport has given rise to speculation about her changing careers. Let’s take a look at what Olympian Arairne Titmus shared with her fans.

Ariarne Titmus’ stupefying statement

Ariarne Titmus recently hinted towards opting for a new career. She has taken to her Instagram stories and shared an update with a tennis racket in her hand while she visited Brisbane International. However, the statement that she added in this update surprised all her fans. She wrote, “Deciding whether tennis is an option for me beyond swimming”. She further added a question, stating, “Thoughts and feelings?”

She recently visited Brisbane International where multiple athletes from various sports were seen together. From the swimming realm, Titmus and Cate Campbell were present. Josh Dunkley, the Australian footballer of the Brisbane Lions; Craig Lowndes, the Australian racing car driver; and Min Woo Lee, the Australian professional golfer who plays in the PGA Tour, were seen together at the tennis tournament. 

The Brisbane International shared a picture of all the athletes together on their Instagram account and captioned it as, “When sporting worlds collide”. This is the place that inspired Ariarne Titmus for the sport of tennis. However, it’s just speculation by fans post Titmus’ hint at takin g up tennis. There is no confirmation about Titmus changing her career. She currently has her motives clear about the Olympics as she shared them recently in a phone interview.

The promise of Australian swimmer for Olympics 2024

One of the most decorated swimmers, Ariarne Titmus recently hopped on a telephonic interview with the Jimmy and Nath show. She here opened up about how she is ready to grace the Paris Olympics 2024 with her presence. Titmus, with extreme excitement, opened up about her preparation for the competition. She said, “I’m actually getting really excited now like coming into the new year 2024 Olympic year”.
