Michael Phelps’ Wife Announces Huge News for the Phelps Family as Youngest Son Takes a Major Step in Life

In 2016, the most decorated swimmer, Michael Phelps, and his wife, Nicole Johnson, secretly married. They are blessed with three children. A few months after their wedding, their first son, Boomer Phelps, was born. Currently, they are living a happy life with Boomer, Beckett, and the youngest one, Maverick. Recently, Nicole shared a cute photograph of their youngest child’s first pre-school day. 

Michael and Nicole created their children’s Instagram accounts, and Michael’s fans were always melting over them.

Both Michael and Nicole are proud parents of their three adorable kids. Like any mother would get emotional on her kids’ first day of school, Nicole got emotional and shared a cute picture of Maverick. She posted the picture on Instagram and wrote in the caption, “Meet the Teacher @m_phelps00 – the last babe to enter preschool.”

In the picture, we can see little Maverick standing and looking like a perfect combination of his parents. He was wearing a blue and white striped t-shirt paired with grey shorts, with white and blue shoes.

Nicole and Michael have been great parents. They have always cared for their children. Even when Michael was going through a tough time after he retired from swimming, their kids’ environment was never disturbed and was taken care of.

When a person is struggling with mental health and other issues, it becomes difficult to take care of the family. When Michael was struggling with depression, he and his wife opened up to their kids. 

During an interview with Carson Daly, they said“I’m very vocal in making sure that kids are aware that maybe Michael is having a rough day, especially boomer, as he gets older. It’s important for boomer to learn that it’s not about him and that he didn’t do something that made daddy feel this way. It’s daddy having his own stuff. We do as best we possibly can to get the boys to express.”
