The US Grand Prix weekend has ended. In this event held in Austin, Texas, the undefeatable Max Verstappen maintained his winning streak after claiming his fifteenth win of the 2023 season. Interestingly, 48 hours after Verstappen’s 50th career win, Michael Phelps was spotted rooting for the red team on social media.

The most decorated Olympian, days after playing poker at an event celebrating the F1 weekend, was seen hanging out with Ferarri’s favorite driver. The athlete also shared a picture with the Italian Formula One racer with his 3.4 million fans, leaving the internet in a frenzy.

On October 24, Michael Phelps left the fans in awe. The Flying Fish posted an Instagram story with an F1 driver representing Ferrari, Carlos Sainz. In the picture, Phelps, in a crisp white shirt, was seen posing with the F1 sports car alongside  Sainz. This photo comes days after Phelps was seen playing poker at the Austin Pit Stop event hosted in Fair Market on October 19. While partnering with Global Poker, a brand that sponsors team Ferrari, the athlete also invited Phelps enthusiasts to witness his poker skills.

“Kick-off race weekend with me and the team at Global Poker on Thursday night at the Austin Pit stop, stated the 38-year-old on his Instagram. Apart from rooting for Ferrari, Phleps was also recently seen showing his baseball skills in Arizona. The athlete was graced with the first throw prior to the fifth game of the championship series.

The Flying Fish  receives a special honor

Before the Clash of the Arizona Diamondbacks and Philadelphia Phillies in the Championship Series, the G.O.A.T. of swimming was given a chance to throw the first pitch at Chase Field on Thursday. The athlete, after waving to his fans, was spotted at the mound and threw the first stretch with a 19-mph heater. Amid this opportunity, the athlete also posted a few photos on Instagram captioned “Throwing out a first pitch in a way only Michael Phelps could.”
