“So Sad, RIP”: Ariarne Titmus and Family Join Swimming World To Mourn Dreadful Passing of Nathan Templeton

The news regarding Nathan Templeton’s personal issues had been circulating for the last several months. The situation reached a point where he shifted from the on-air role to the behind-the-scenes one, minimizing the direct approach. Despite having a fun-filled Easter celebration, Ariarne Titmus’s much-favored journalist had to bid his goodbye to his cherished profession, heavenly camaraderie with athletes, and the sweet bonding with friends and family.

In a shocking revelation, the death of Nathan Templeton, 44, of Channel Seven news has taken a round. The available report states that the reasons for this ill-fated death are grueling medical episodes and personal issues. However, for Australian swimmer Ariarne Titmus, the news gave her a heartbreak.

As she mentioned in her tribute messages to Nathan in her IG story, it went ahead narrating, “Nathan was the first person I spoke to after all of my races at the last Olympics and was the first person I shared the joy of my wins with. Getting to know him beyond being journo was a privilege…So so sad, RIP.” In the meantime, her compatriot in the national color, Shayna Jack, paid her tribute to the raconteur.

In his grieving message, the former world championship medalist shared the emojis of a crying face, heartbreak, and a white dove to pay her tribute to someone who continuously covered all the Australian domestic swimming battles throughout the years. Ariarne’s father, who is also a television presenter, penned kind words for his friend.

In his obituary for Nathan Templeton, Steve Ariarne described him as“A colleague at 7 and a friend at the pool.” Furthermore, he tried to add comfort to the grieving family of Nathan Templeton by acknowledging him as immortal because of his work. With Ariarne Titmus, Nathan Templeton used to nurture a distinct bond.

While reminiscing about Nathan Templeton’s effect on her, the former Commonwealth Games champion affectionately mentioned her conversation with him at the Tokyo Olympics. Nathan was at the helm of Channel Seven’s Olympic broadcast in Tokyo. Moreover, he was in the 2018 Commonwealth Games as well. In all those contests, Ariarne Titmus earned podiums, including her double golds in Tokyo. So, after achieving big in the pools, the Australian swimmer used to find Nathan Templeton with his boom along the pools to share her first share of joy. For Nathan as well, the experience was riveting.

In one instance in Tokyo, he received a rare chance to interview both Katie Ledecky and Ariarne Titmus in the same frame after the 400m free win over the American champion. Furthermore, Nathan Templeton also received a chance to catch Australian swimmer Kaylee McKeown in her raw emotion after her victory in the 100m breaststroke event in Tokyo. He captured all those moments. Those captivating conversations will surely be missed!
