Certainly what he isn’t known for is his fashion sense. The swimming star has sported various looks through the years. A goatee is amongst some other looks that we’ve seen the swimmer don.

In a recent post on Instagram, Phelps’ wife shared a video of her husband. Michael can be seen sporting a ‘top knot’ hairstyle which looks rather good on him.

The swimmer holds the door open for a waiter who is bringing in a lot (A LOT!) of ice as Phelps gets ready for an ice bath. Michael’s incredibly shredded body is also indicative of the fact that even though he retired roughly 6 years ago, he has continued to stay in peak physical condition.

Michael’s life post-retirement

While Phelps has frequently been seen golfing with his buddies or in various tournaments, he has been doing much more than just that. The 36-year-old retired after the 2012 Olympics. He then made a comeback in the 2016 Olympics before finally retiring with no intention of ever making a comeback again.

He has since been working as a mental health advocate. Michael joined the board of Medibio in 2017. Medibio is a company that focuses on the diagnosis of mental health disorders. Phelps also has ties with Colgate to advocate for water conservation. He has also teamed up with ‘Talkspace’, which is an app that helps in connecting users to licensed therapists.
