Day 2 of the final meet of the Swimming World Cup 2023 has commenced and it has already witnessed some of the best performances. Athletes like Kaylee McKeown and Yufei Zhang are shining bright in Hungary after attaining the World Cup crowns for their consistently outstanding performances. Apart from them, the Italian swimmer Thomas Ceccon has also stunned the world with his performances in 100m freestyle. After two meets of the competition, he again delivered a remarkable performance in leg 3 of the competition.

Ceccon has proved his specialty in the 100m freestyle with his incredible skills. With the American cap as one of his gears in the water, he had his good luck wrapped around him. With wins in all three meets, he has secured the World Cup King status, and it is safe to say that he deserved it. After this achievement, the entire swimming community is left in awe.

He has clinched gold in all three stops of the World Cup in the 100m freestyle and now he has been awarded the World Cup king status with a $10,000 bonus. The entire community’s eyes were stuck on him as he won the crown.

Starting from lane 4, the Italian swimmer made his way smoothly to the wall. He cruised his way to the win by leaving some of the best swimmers behind him. He clinched gold in the men’s 100m freestyle by touching the wall in a time of 48.41. Following him was the Trinidad and Tobago’s swimmer Dylan Carter with a time of 48.52.

Standing in third place with a time of 48.62 was another Italian swimmer Alessandro Miressi. This was a terrific showdown between the swimmers and was a treat to watch. Even after the silent controversy, Ceccon with his American cap nabbed the win with his good luck and unmatchable talent.

The Italian swimmer has been giving terrific performances in the Swimming World Cup 2023, however, he got into a silent controversy amidst all the success. In meet 1 at Berlin, he gave a magnificent performance in the 200-meter backstroke event, but something else caught the eye of the spectators and sparked a controversy against the swimmer. After blazing through the waters in Berlin, he clinched gold with a time of 1:56.64.
