The former wide receiver had invited Lyles for his ‘I AM ATHLETE’ podcast. The duo discussed several topics like mental health and fashion in sports among many others. By the end of the episode, Marshall did something completely unexpected and gave a parting gift to Lyles. Marshall took off the chain he was wearing and said he was giving it away to Lyles because he’s his favorite. He asked Lyles’ girlfriend, Junelle Bromfield, to put it around Lyles’ neck, as the speedster blushed with joy.
Noah Lyles said, “I’m telling you, bro. I really don’t know what to say. I’m beyond honored.” Lyles said that this was completely unbelievable for him, as he just gave away one of his chains to Bromfield in the morning. Lyles said, “I usually don’t like to give away my chains, but she wanted it. I was like, ‘You know what? she can have it.’ That was so crazy.” While Lyles doesn’t like to give away his chains, he does like selling merch to his fans. In fact, he recently released the ‘Noah Lyles World Championship Hat,’ and inflicted a fresh wound on the NBA.
