When the legendary Jamaican sprinter, Usain Bolt, took retirement from track and field events, he left a deep mark on his admirer’s hearts. Undoubtedly, “Lightning Bolt” became the greatest of all time, with many world records in history. His golden record in 100m made him the sprinting superstar, but his 200m achievement dominated his career. It has been 13 years since Bolt won the 200m with the impeccable timing of 19.19 seconds. Now, his fans on Twitter are melting enormously, remembering his 13-year-old golden achievement.

The Twitter handle of World Athletic, shared the video of Bolt with the caption, “The 19.19 On this day in 2009, @usainbolt set an unforgettable world record in the men’s 200m! 13 years later, it still stands.” Seeing the tweet, the Jamaican sprinter’s fan poured their love into the comment section.

Recalling the wonderful time when Bolt decreased his speed on the track, a fan wrote, “Dude slowed down at the end and still smashed it.” Pointing this, another fan wrote, “Both his 100m and 200m world records could be faster too. Instead, he slowed up before the tape on both of them.”

Meanwhile, a fan came to the rescue and stated, “He was not slowing down. It’s called lactic acid build up. He was going as hard as he can. This was a final, not a semifinal or prelim.” One user showed his immense love for the sprinter, “I said it at the time, and I will die with a smile on my face if it’s true. His records will still stands until the day I die.” This fan showed how Usain’s achievements are flattering after 13 years of the world record.

One user described how the possibility of breaking Bolt’s world record is low, “If this record falls it’s going to be in a one off Diamond league race as no one currently is capable of running three rounds and still producing a time like this. Still will be the greatest performance in this event until the record’s broken at World’s or Olympics.”

The fastest man alive, achieved everyone’s respect by setting the ultimate time in sprinting history. He set the record for 100-meter with a timing of 9.58 seconds. While in 200-meter, he set an impeccable timing of 19.26 seconds and an amazing record of 19.19 seconds.
