On her left thigh, the track and field athlete has a rose tattoo and on her wrist, there is a tattoo saying, “HOPE” with floral designs. Revealing the meanings of the tattoos she posted on her social media, “In 2008 they were shocked. In 2012, they were reassured. For 2016, hope remains. This tattoo is a constant reminder that hope is not a dream, but rather the reassurance that dreams can become a reality once there is HOPE.”
