USA’s Track queen, Sha’Carri Richardson, a month ago, along with Jordan Chiles and Kristie Mewis, teamed up with Danone’s global brands—Oikos, Activia, and Too Good & Co. Collaboration with the company worth a staggering $42 billion was more than having a lucrative deal. Beyond just chasing Olympic glory, they shared a powerful vision of empowering women in sports. Recently, on May 8th, Sha’Carri shared one more exciting update about the collaboration.

Sha’Carri Richardson took to her Instagram to post a bold picture featuring herself, Chiles, and Mewis proudly holding products from Oikos, Activia, and Too Good. In her caption, she teased some thrilling plans ahead, hinting at delicious high-protein snacks for their fans. It reads, “#Ad Squad So excited to partner with @OIKOS! Wait and see what high-protein snacks we have in store for y’all  #OIKOSstrong”. Before their big global move, they worked with Danone on the “Nourish Your Hustle” campaign to get ready and motivate others. For Sha’Carri, the decision to join Danone was a no-brainer, driven by a surprising reason.

In an interview with PEOPLE, Richardson had stated that she easily decided to join the campaign because she believed Danone was all about positive change. She was confident about women’s growing role in sports, saying, “I will offer that when it comes to the ladies and women’s sports… This generation is showing that women have just as much of a presence in sports as men,” and even more determinedly, “Actually, we’re trying to take over.” With her latest post about the collaboration, fans couldn’t contain their excitement upon seeing Sha’Carri land another major deal post-Nike, flooding her post with comments that reflected their enthusiasm.

Fans buzz on Sha’Carri Richardson’s $42 million collab

Sha’Carri’s list of endorsements includes big names like Nike, Apple Music, google, and many more. In March, she stunned everyone by partnering with Bronny James to appear in a stunning clip promoting Google Circle. Her promotion of Beats by Dre music appliances has also got widespread attention. Looking at this impressive portfolio, a fan marveled at her growing list of brand deals, and penned, “She on her 30th brand deal I know that bank account heavy”.

Another fan playfully hinted at her accumulating wealth, commenting, “Sha’Carri in her BAG” with emojis. Others celebrated Richardson’s legacy and foresaw her ongoing success, affectionately dubbing her the queen of “legacy wealth loading……. Get it done Queen”. However, handling the brand deals and popularity has not been easy for Sha’Carri Richardson.

Sha’Carri has had her fair share of challenges with brands using her name without permission. Back in March, the 23-year-old sprinter made it clear that she only promotes products or services she genuinely believes in. One supporter emphasized this very confidence of her with the bold words, “You know what Carri says, ‘The line starts right where I’m standing'”. Keeping up with this bold stance, she had come out clear about her take on the unauthorized use of her popularity.

She added in an X post, “Hey y’all I don’t promo any products or services unless you see me post them here on my page.”  Therefore, seeing Sha’Carri promoting the brand along with others, fans could not stop but acknowledged all three athletes, remarking, “Them triple 0s different”. These comments reflect the diverse ways fans engage with Richardson’s achievements, from admiring her financial gains to celebrating her confidence and legacy in the world of sports.
