“I am a firm believer that track and field is just not marketed the right way. We could do a better job in selling ourselves and selling our stories”, Noah Lyles quipped once evangelically. Since then, the sprinter repeatedly backed his idea of being more than just a track and field athlete. Rather, the world champion formed his voice to change the outset of the sport, for the betterment of it. This uprooting of the continuing stature isn’t easy as Noah Lyles believes that as well. So on the way, he started with baby steps.

His docu-series on Peacock displayed the 26-year-old sprinter, giving insights into his special way of handling things and his mom’s role in it in a special position. That came as path-breaking as Noah Lyles ruptured the age-old notion of revealing future strategies. Now, the 60m champion is eyeing for decimating another loophole in the track and field circle. With that, Noah Lyles has something to express as his plan for that.

Hinting at that solution, the Florida native posted a snippet of that conversation on IG, captioning “Walk-ins can be a stage for our sports greatest”

As per him, this stand might send a fitting honor to all the former track and field athletes in the right way. That seemed to be Noah Lyles’s latest goal to create the marketization of the sport. In 2023 as well, he once raised his voice on that marketization part.

Last year, Noah Lyles appeared in certain documentaries on Netflix and NBC. In those documentaries, the sprinter tried to present the sport favorably. Being a harbinger of that camp, Noah believed that he had to be the “personality” in setting goals.

On that estimate, he added, “What I’m realizing is where there are athletes like that and people like me, the people who are actually in charge don’t have a goal, or don’t want to create a goal and it’s been a very frustrating realization.”

So, in bringing more marketing aspects to the sport, Noah Lyles decided now to host one such walk-in where older athletes would have their say. That goal seems to see daylight soon, as Noah Lyles never disrespects his goal.
