Noah Lyles calls out Christian Coleman in a recent interview 

Recently Noah Lyles was seen in an interview with Ato Boldon. Here he opened up about a lot of his opinions and his goals for this season. Among all of his plans for the Olympic year, one statement that captivated a lot of attention was his goals for the Indoor Championships 2024. He made an astonishing statement that was aimed at Christian Coleman.

Noah Lyles confessed that he was focusing on winning the 60m indoor championship. He expressed, “The goal is to win world championships indoors”. As 200m indoors is no more, so 60m is for Lyles. The current champion of the 60m is Coleman. He has delivered multiple terrific 60m performances in his career. 

Coleman, after his return from the ban, attained his third national indoor title at 60m where he clocked a time of 6.45 seconds. It is going to be a terrific showdown between Noah Lyles and Christian Coleman. This is not the first time Coleman and Lyles are confronted in a face-off. They have given each other tough competition before as well.

Noah Lyles gave an outstanding performance in Diamond League 2023. However, he faced a setback in the 100m meet of the Diamond League final in Eugene, Oregon. This unfortunate incident took place for Lyles when Coleman took the victory home. He rushed towards the finish line and got the best of Lyles, leaving him at the second position.

Coleman bagged the win by clocking a time of 9.83 seconds, and Noah Lyles clocked 9.85 seconds. Now, after the Lyles aiming to win the 60m world championship, again an extraordinary performance like this will be witnessed. The track and field enthusiasts are on their toes to witness whether Noah Lyles will beat the 60m champion.
