Following this, the American sprinting icon took a hiatus from his spree to enjoy some quality time with his Jamaican girlfriend, Junelle Bromfield.

After standing atop the podium at the Zurich Diamond League, Noah Lyles asserted that he decided to end his 2023 season. However, as he astounded his fandom with the announcement, he took a break and went on a vacation with Junelle Bromfield. Interestingly, the couple took all the brownie points as they pulled off the curtains from their shenanigans and shared glimpses of their vacation.

Her latest Instagram story showed that there is no love lost between the two athletes from rival countries.

Junelle Bromfield recently stirred a few murmurs by congratulating the Jamaican relay team ahead of celebrating Noah Lyles’ win in the 4×100 meter relay event on the Hungarian tracks.

She also wrote a social media post to commemorate Jamaican sprinting champion Shericka Jackson’s 200-meter victory but conveniently passed over acknowledging Sha’Carri Richardson’s iconic comeback.

This stirred rumors about there being hidden tensions between herself and her American beau. However, Noah Lyles dispelled all rumors by planning a vacation with Junelle Bromfield. This vacation came on the heels of a major athletic achievement in Lyles’ life, further solidifying their bond.

Lyles did not disappoint and won his fifth gold in the category. After the race, Lyles declared that he would not race anymore in the rest of the competition season this year. However, soon after this announcement, he gave a cryptic message to his fandom asserting that he might run again. Though it is not confirmed yet, but fans are hoping to see Lyles defend his title in Eugene.
