Further, the fan, while highlighting the athlete’s dominance, added, “This is one athlete who has nothing left to prove—she’s the greatest there has ever been, and her legacy is set in stone.

In the video, Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce after her win in the 2015 women’s 100m dash was asked if she is trying to make a statement with her win. In response to this, the track and field GOAT went bold as she stated, ‘I don’t need to make a statement to the world; nothing is for the world.” Further highlighting her reason for her passion for running, Fraser-Pryce added, “Everything is for his (God) glory, and that’s the only person I run for, nobody else. It’s not about proving anything to anybody because I have already proven myself over and over. I don’t think I need to prove anything to the world.”

After securing bronze at the World Athletics Championship, Shelly-Ann Fraser Pierce decided not to participate in the Diamond League. The 36-year-old athlete aggravated her knee injury while running as a second leg to clinch a win at the 100-meter relay race. After the end of the World Championship, Fraser-Pryce’s medical team posted an update on her health. According to the athlete’s doctor, “(She is) in good spirits; I mean, a bit disappointed that we didn’t get the gold medal, but despite that, she knows what championships are all about.”
