On August 16, 2009, Usain Bolt etched his name in the history of Track and field as the sprinter claimed his world and track athletics championships by dominating the 100-meter race in just 9.58 seconds. The athlete broke his own previous record of 9.69 clocked in the 2000 Beijing Olympics and became the world’s fastest man alive.

And now, even after 14 years, the athlete still holds the world’s fastest-man title. To celebrate this achievement, many track and field enthusiasts have honored him in their unique ways. On the same note, Bolt?s celebrity barber, who gave him a staunch haircut last year, paid an honorary tribute to the athlete for this achievement.

As it’s almost 24 years now since the track and field star broke the record, hence, to celebrate his biggest milestone, many fans across the world found unique yet creative ways to honor him. Similary, on August 8, Usain Bolt’s celebrity barber honored the Lightning Bolt’s achievement through an Instagram story video. In the video on a large billboard, the track and field star?s record-breaking 9.58 was showcased with bright lights. Usain Bolt, who adored this gesture, reposted the story on his Instagram.

The Celebrity Barber has also posted a video of him giving a haircut to the sprinter in 2022. In the video captioned “The Legend Himself, Usain Bolt,” the track and field star was seen with a fresh haircut enjoying artist Topman’s music.

Last month in the City of Miramar, the largest population holder of Jamaicans in the United States, the athlete was honored with a bronze statue. Apart from that, the 36-year-old was also the torch bearer for the upcoming Paris Olympics, 2024.

And Last month in July, to honor the legendary record breaker, a bronze statue in his iconic pose after the 2008 Beijing Olympics was added in Miramar, Florida as a tribute by the athlete?s native country, Jamaica. The statue made by Bail Watson was inaugurated at the Ansin Sports Complex in Miramar City. Apart from that, the track and field legend was also honored by the authorities of the Paris Olympics. The athlete became the torchbearer of the 2024 Olympics to celebrate the upcoming big games.
