After dominating Jamaican legends Shericka Jackson and Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce at the World Athletics Championship, the athlete has remained low-key on social media. The last post from the 23-year-old came on September 12th after the sprinter joined the force of Team USA to win the 4×100-meter relay race on Budapest tracks.

Following this news, four weeks later, Sha’Carri Richardson posted a sunny update on social media. In a story, the LSU sensation shared a picture showing off her new look in an undisclosed location, leaving 2.9 million Richardson enthusiasts in a frenzy.

On October 12, Sha’Carri Richardson blessed the feeds of the fans. She posted a sun-kissed selfie on her Instagram story with the caption, “Hey, y’all.” In the picture, Sha’Carri Richardson, who was spotted in a black wig, was seen showing off her necklace sparkling in the sun while sitting in a car.

Richardson shared this sunny update after recently inspiring budding athletes in her hometown. The athlete attended a health and wellness event at Desoto High School in Texas. At the event, the 100m sprinter shared the wisdom she received from her grandmother with the students. As the newly crowned world champion stated, “My grandmother told me whatever you are going to do, put your best foot in it and your best self into it.”

Interestingly, this inspiring endeavor came after the athlete ended her 2023 season with staunch wins under her name. After becoming the world’s fastest woman in 100 meters, the young track and field star is now girding up to secure a ticket for the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Sha’Carri Richardson is training for the big games

After the dismay faced over the past two years, Sha’Carri Richardson is not back but better. In the 2023 season, the athlete stood atop many podiums, clinching accolades while bringing back the grandeur of America. Now the athlete has geared up her spikes to become the first American woman to win a 100-meter Olympic event since Gail Devers in 1996.

To train for the next season, Richardson has joined the club “Star Athletics” and will be coached by Dennis Mitchell. Apart from Richardson, US athletes Kenny Bednarek, 4x100m relay race champion Twanisha Terry, Kyree King, and Marvin Bracy-Williams are also currently training under Mitchell.
