On July 15, a track and field reporting account posted a tweet of Shacarri Richardson with the caption “Sha’carri Richardson touchdown in the Silesia Diamond League. I must say one thing about her: SHE NEVER DIPS! She almost always shows up at the line when she enters. Fans love to see that from top athletes.” In the picture, the LSU star was seen wearing a red dress and long green braids while arriving for the Silesia Diamond League. The athlete also carried headphones and a suitcase with her as she smiled at the camera.

The Diamond League race held in Silesia, Poland, will take place on July 16. And Sha’Carri Richardson will be facing Jamaican athlete Shericka Jackson on the tracks of Europe. Both athletes have dominated the US track and field championship this year. Last week, Shericka Jackson won the 100-meter race at the Jamaican national championship in 2023, making her the fifth-fastest woman of all time. The Jamaican athlete broke Richardson’s previous record of clocking in a 100-meter race in Oregon. Currently, both athletes combined hold seven out of the 10 fastest time slots for 100-meter races at the 2023 US Championship. And, now two fastest 100-meter sprinters will compete against each other in Poland on Sunday. However, Besides Jackson and Richardson, eight more athletes will participate in the Diamond League in Poland.

On July 16, eight athletes will compete on the tracks of Russia. The list includes the top-tier athletes of the season, Sha’Carri Richardson and Shericka Jackson. Besides them, Aleia Hobbs, silver Olympic medalist, and World champion Twanisha Terry will take part in the 100-meter. Further, European championship silver medalist Ewa Swoboda and 100-meter gold medalist, German athlete Gina Luckenkemper, will also compete against Richardson.
