“She’s Given Me No Love”: Rihanna Once Left World’s Fastest Usain Bolt Disappointed After He Expressed His Love

People go to varying heights to profess their love for someone. But documentation of such instances are rare. However, life hits different when the person is a celebrity. Similarly, when Usain Bolt tried to win Rihanna over, it had fans holding their breath.

The sprinter first expressed his love for the Barbadian singer in 2013. It was after he saw her dance with some of her friends in a video.

What led Usain Bolt to be disappointed?

Bolt openly expressed his love for Rihanna a few times in front of the media. However, the fastest man alive always got the silent treatment from the singer. Even after multiple attempts to get her attention, she refused to reply to his requests.

Naturally, it would demoralize any person when such instances occur. And so it did Bolt too!

When the eight-time Olympic gold medalist appeared for an interview three years later, he was not very optimistic about getting a reply from Rihanna anymore. The Olympian even seemed dispirited when speaking about the singer.

When the interviewer asked Bolt if Rihanna contacted the sprinter, he replied, “No, she’s given me no love bro, no love zero love.”

Next, the athlete joked, “I think she’s getting all the love with Work, Work, Work man.”

Referring to the time when people spotted Rihanna with Leonardo DiCaprio at Coachella, the interviewer asked if Bolt viewed the actor as an opponent. To this, Bolt replied, “He’s no competition for me. I’m tall, I’m handsome I’m dark, I’m the greatest.”

During the interview, he also took a dig at his team’s inability to help him out. He said, “My team is letting me down.” However, the athlete was not serious when he said that. The sprinter only meant it as a friendly jibe.

Has Bolt been able to move on?

The lightning Bolt has moved on since. A year after he posted on social media platforms to express his love for Rihanna, he started dating Kasi Bennett. Even during the time of the interview, he was dating Bennett.

At one point, the interviewer asked him how he intended to proceed forward. Hearing this, Bolt replied, “Actually I do have a girlfriend.”

The couple has been together for around eight years. And during this time, they welcomed three children into their life.
