Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce has been through a roller-coaster ride. From her injuries to wins, she has gone through multiple things in her life. However, everything has been in her favor since the Olympic season commenced. She has received the honor of getting featured in Essence Magazine which is known to hype up African-American women for their achievements. 

She took to her Instagram to share this achievement with her social media family. She shared five pictures of her for the magazine. The caption to this post carried, “I had the pleasure of being featured in the Jan/Feb 24′ @essence issue that celebrates Black Women in Sports”. She further added, “Thank you @missjabali for the thoughtful interview where we discussed life both on and off the track. On stands now”.
