However, on the 100-meter track, the United States will not be represented by Noah Lyles but by his track and field partner.

On Saturday, Fred Kerlely will be joining the forces of Team United States to claim one more victory under their name. The 100- and 200-meter expert will be in a heated competition against a two-time Olympic athlete to grab the win. And before race, Fred Kerley sent out a powerful message to the world.

Prior to the highly anticipated 100-meter raceon the tracks of Xiamen, Fred Kerley sent out a powerful message. On Friday, Wanda Diamond League posted a video of Kerley and his rivals’ interaction in a press conference with the caption “It’s TIME… for a sprint showdown at Xiamen Diamond League.”

In the video, two-time Italian Olympic champion Lamont Marcel Jacobs, while highlighting the essence of the Diamond League and World Athletics Championship, stated,” I’m ready for the fight, of course.”  In response to this, Kerley, who will be representing the United States amid Noah Lyles’s absence at the event, stated, “Trashtalking is a very normal thing in sports so track and field should be nothing less. We’re trying to elevate this sport. Following similar lines, Kerley, who is confident in himself, also silenced his haters at the conference. The athlete, despite Noah Lyle’s absence, is planning to clinch the first position on the podium.

After failing to secure his ticket to the 100-meter world athletics championship, Fred Kerley is now looking forward to bringing his dominance back. The US sprinter, who will have to tackle Lament Marcel Jacobs without Noah Lyles, is confident in emerging as the winner. As Kerley stated in the interview, “We all came for one common goal: to win, and only one person can win, and that’s me. Simple.” Hopefully, after facing disappointment at the Worlds, Fred Kerley will regain his zeal by securing the first position on the podium.
