Justin Gatlin is one of the most decorated former US sprinters who clinched the 2004 Olympic Championship title in a 100-meter track. Apart from that, Gatlin won a million hearts by becoming the 2005 and 2017 World Championships in the 100 meters. The 41-year-old track and field sensation is also known for his outstanding performances in the 2019 World Championship.

Ending his track and field career on a high note, Justin Gatlin has now signed a deal with the Golden Elite Track and Field Club. Justin’s new collaboration might come as a gift for the budding track and field stars.

Justin Gatlin is all set to nurture rising track stars
The Track Spice took to its official Twitter account to share an update regarding the World Champion Justin Gatlin’s new step. The caption reads, ‘’Justin Gatlin Invitational: A New Opportunity for High School Athletes. The Golden Elite Track and Field Club, in collaboration with Olympic Gold Medalist and World Champion Justin Gatlin, is set to host two new track meets in Northwest Florida this year, aimed at nurturing young athletic talent.’’ The participants of the meets have a chance to display and hone their sprinting skills under the watchful eyes of the champs. Both the new track meets will take place in Northwest Florida in 2024. The two meets will feature youngsters of separate age groups.

The Justin Gatlin Invitational’s first meets will be held on March 23, 2024 (Saturday). In the first event, the main target will be the freshmen and sophomores in high school. Besides this, giving details about the meet, the organizers said, “This joint meet between Olympic Gold Medalist/World Champion Justin Gatlin and Golden Elite Track & Field is open to schools, clubs, and unattached athletes in graduating classes 2026 & 2027.” There will be opportunities for the athletes even younger than the high schoolers.

Little steps to make giant marks
The second meet, the Gulf Coast Primary Invitational Championship, will have its focus on athletes aged between 4 years to 10 years. This has been scheduled for April 6, 2024. The target of the meets is solely promoting athletics as stated by an organizer.
