A Bizarre Conspiracy Theory Suggested Bruce Lee’s Death Resulted From a Secret ‘Touch of Death’ Martial Arts Technique

In 1973, martial arts legend and movie icon Bruce Lee died a mysterious death. Even today, many speculations arise to reason the legend’s sudden demise. Although the doctors claim that Lee died due to past kidney conditions, many believe that Lee did not die a natural death. A conspiracy theory suggests that a few Chinese Kung fu masters were angered by Lee’s actions, which might have led them to use the “touch of death” against the actor.

Bruce Lee failed against this martial arts technique.

It has been many years since Bruce Lee passed away, yet one can never fail to remember the legendary actor. Lee died on 20 July 1973, and doctors had reported cerebral edema as the cause of death. However, recently, a few medical reports emerged that suggested that Lee suffered from a prior kidney injury, which later led to his death.

But Lee’s die-hard fans don’t seem eager to be on the same page as the facts. In fact, there are many conspiracy theories regarding the “real” cause of the actor’s death. In a list of conspiracy theories by Style magazine, a ridiculous theory suggests that Chinese Kung fu masters killed Lee for teaching martial arts to foreign students.

Regardless of the warnings from other “sifus”, Lee never stopped training American students. As a result of Lee’s stubbornness, it is said that he was attacked with a dim mak, famously known as the “touch of death”. In this technique, an opposition strikes their rivals pressure points, eventually leading to a person’s death.

Even though this is just a conspiracy theory, Lee training foreign students were often the “talk of the town” in Hong Kong. Once, even American legend Chuck Norris had to step in, to stop a rumor about Lee teaching him Kung fu.

Bruce Lee and American Martial Arts artist Chuck Norris were close friends and often trained together. However, rumors spread across Hong Kong that Norris was Lee’s student and that he used to train the American to be an MMA legend.

Hence, once when the two appeared on a talk show together, Norris was ready to address the rumor. He confessed, “The fact is we are too bad to be his students, and he is too good to be our teacher.” Norris’ reply made the audience laugh and somewhat ended the rumors about the “student-teacher” duo.
