Last year’s super hit comedy-drama, Everything Everywhere All at Once recently made history by winning seven awards at the 95th Academy Awards. The makers of the film have received great applause from across the world. Moreover, one of the most prestigious appreciations came from martial legend, Bruce Lee’s Instagram page. 

Recently, Lee’s daughter Shannon Lee congratulated the winners of Everything Everywhere All at Once through her father’s memoir Instagram page. Moreover, she also added a message that was highly recognized by Lee’s fans.

On 12 March Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert’s film Everything Everywhere All At Once entered its name on the pages of history by winning a number of Academy Awards. It received three Oscars for acting, along with awards for best direction, picture, screenplay, and costume. 

The film is about a Chinese-American immigrant named Evelyn who enters an unseen universe to fight an agent. In her journey to do so, she absorbs power from multiple universes, including skills from martial arts to opera. Nevertheless, the film is available in English, Cantonese, and Chinese.

On such a proud moment, Shannon Lee took to her father’s Instagram to express her happiness for the team. She uploaded pictures of the winners along with a caption that read, “History in the making. Congratulations to all who were nominated and won!” Fans were elated to see the post and appreciated everything that Bruce Lee did to pin Hong Kong cinema on the world map.

Fans remember Bruce Lee for his legacy

Indeed, it was Bruce Lee who bridged the gap between the east and west by popularizing martial arts. Although he could not win an Oscar, fans remember his legacy and appreciate him for the success that martial art films are experiencing today across the globe.
