Through his official Twitter account, @stoolpresidente, Dave Portnoy voiced his opinions regarding the recent UFC 296 faceoff. His post reads, “Tony Ferguson is one of the all-time legends of UFC and Paddy the Baddy just made him look old!” Even though Ferguson has been the reigning lightweight champion, Paddy snubbed him recently.

Portnoy has always cheered for Paddy, celebrating his win through his posts. Not only this, he had welcomed Paddy “The Baddy” Pimblett as a coworker to his network back in late 2021, after Paddy signed a massive seven-figure deal with Barstool Sports while he was shining as the UFC’s newest fighting sensation.
Down the line, as Paddy is securing iconic victories, Dave Portnoy is not shying away from rallying him up. Portnoy had once mentioned regarding Paddy, “Prediction time. If he keeps beating everybody [he‘ll be] the biggest athlete in the world.” And now it’s time, given that Pimblett defeated the renowned fighter Ferguson, whose moves are unmatched on the ground.
