With the NFL weekend just around the corner, football fever is real. And Tyreek Hill seems to be in the thick of it. Hill is in Las Vegas for the Superbowl weekend and he’s making waves despite not featuring on the gridiron. He was recently a part of ESPN coverage of the NHL All-Star game where he called out sprinter Usain Bolt to a race.

Hill doused himself with beer like Stone Cold before proclaiming his allegiance to his team to end his appearance on the network. And fans of the sprinting wide receiver will be well excited for whatever comes next. And with the gauntlet laid down, Usain Bolt responded.

The wide receiver was enjoying himself in Vegas as the NFL reached its season’s conclusion and appeared to be in high spirits. Despite the Kansas City Chiefs not being able to make it to the Superbowl Tyreek has had a great season. And with the Superbowl going to Las Vegas, the week was winding down well. As Tyreek put it, “There’s always something to do in Las Vegas.”

Usain Bolt Responds

Tyreek Mills was at the NHL All-Star Game this weekend in Las Vegas. And boy, did he make a splash. Figuratively and literally too. Splashing himself in beers at the end of the interview.

Mills and his Kansas City Chiefs were eliminated from the postseason by the Cincinnati Bengals but Mills found his way to Vegas to witness the Superbowl. And he laid down the gauntlet for Usain Bolt.

The pair have gone back and forth a few times challenging each other to sprinting competitions. But this time seemed different. Tyreek set out a location saying that he wanted to have the race in Vegas itself. However, Bolt was quick to respond.

Bolt took to Twitter to mark a photo of Tyreek participating in the NFL skills challenge over the weekend. He had, in that challenge succumbed to the competition and was not able to win the challenge. “I just feel like I don’t wanna show the world what I really got, cause I’m saving it for Usain Bolt”, said Hill.

But Bolt would respond soon too. Tweeting out a screenshot of the skills challenge with Mills marked out on the screenshot with the caption, “You mean this guy?”

Usain Bolt is a top sprinter and while a few years retired, would still be interesting to see how he would fare in an all-out sprint with the NFL Star. Could this really happen for the two? Time will tell. But until then, let the NFL hype continue to build.
