Huskers volleyball stars and their on-court pet peeves

The Nebraska Huskers Women’s Volleyball Team had a fantastic and near-perfect season run, with 28 wins and one loss. The highly adaptive and versatile team efficiently handled almost every challenge thrown at them. However, they do have things that fire signals of disgust in their heads. NCAA Women’s Volleyball recently tweeted a video clip of the Huskers where they revealed what their biggest volleyball ick was. Mentioning her ick, one player said, “I would say definitely short socks. I’ve done it before but like I just think you gotta wear either like crew socks or long socks to make it look very volleyball.”

This sentiment was echoed by another player who simply said “Ankle socks” and nothing more. Switching the focus of disgust from the feet to the head, a player answered, “Oh oh my gosh I hate the rat tail buns that like you know what I mean like they put in like a half bun and the hair like hitting that oh my god I hate those.”

The rat tail buns were on the ick list of two more players, showcasing that the Nebraska Huskers unitedly despise the look. As the players laughed and giggled while mentioning their icks, these won’t even be the last things on their minds during the playoffs. Especially when they will be up against the champion of a rival conference.
