As the NCAA Division I tournament is set to start, no other team will face as much pressure as the Texas Longhorns. There is no doubt in the fact that they have been the best volleyball team in the country for the past two years. After all, having the opportunity to win three titles in a row itself is commendable. But, to achieve this, the team will need to be at their utmost best. Now, for that to come to fruition, they’ll need their best player, Madisen Skinner, to be in the best form of her life.
Madisen has been Texas’ best player ever since she swapped Kentucky in her sophomore year. The interesting part is that unlike Longhorns, the player would be hunting for her fourth title this year. This is because she had won one title in her freshman year in Kentucky. Thus, she has the brilliant opportunity to win a title in every single college year. This would be a special achievement that is rarely seen. For this, she’ll need a lot of backing from her support system, which includes her parents and friends. Luckily, her father knows a thing or two about pressure situations.

After this, he was traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2001-02 season. There he would become almost a team regular, playing in 65 games that season. But he would be traded again this year to the Philadelphia 76ers, where Brian would come into his own. He played 77 games that season and averaged 6 points a game, a decent figure. He would again leave next year to the Milwaukee Bucks, playing the best season of his career there with a PPG of 10.5.
After that, he would move back to the 76ers but couldn’t find his footing. Thus, he spent the rest of his career as a journeyman, with stints across Sacramento, Portland, Milwaukee, and Phoenix. He would play his last game for the Bucks in 2011 before being waived off and effectively retiring. While his career may not be as glorious as some of the greats, he did play thirteen seasons in the league, which is an impressive feat. Now, he can look from the stands as his impressive daughter Madisen Skinner carries on his legacy, albeit in a different sport.
