Unexpected development in the Nebraska camp

The Nebraska Huskers Women’s Volleyball Team has shown one of the most fierce offensive gameplays in the 2023 season. The Huskers have flattened several opponents via clean sweeps, including powerhouse teams like Penn State. Outside hitter, Lindsay Krause makes up a significant part of the Huskers’ arsenal, which lays waste to the defense of their rivals. Prior to the beginning of the Nebraska versus Minnesota match, a tweet on X reported Krause’s absence from the court. The tweet carried the caption, “Despite practicing this morning, Lindsay Krause is not dressed for tonight’s match against Minnesota.”

So far, no explicit reasoning has been issued by the Nebraska Huskers for this unexpected development. The Big Ten Champions will retain their numero uno spot in the conference even if Minnesota somehow manages to pull off an upset. Does this mean that the Nebraska Huskers are trying to reserve their explosive outside hitter for the playoffs? This is the second time Krause will be missing a match since her injury back in October.

Nebraska has been the first choice for Krause

Lindsay Krause is a junior at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and is a regular in the Nebraska Huskers Women’s Volleyball lineup. Krause unfortunately got injured in a hit-and-run accident that forced her to miss some matches. Sparing that gap, Krause has always shown up for her team and contributed to its near-perfect 2023 season.

Lindsay Krause has bagged several honors in her storied career ever since her high school days. In fact, the U18 NORCECA gold medalist was named USA’s ranked one outside hitter by a publication. Donning the number 22 on her jersey, Krause had once revealed that she always wanted to join the Nebraska Huskers.
