A similar instance was replayed on 3rd November when the Seminoles women’s volleyball team beat the Pittsburgh Panthers.

A social media post unveiled the news of the upsetting result as Florida State University Seminoles breached all barriers. The Panthers, ranked sixth in the league, were the massive favorites of the match but the result has astonished everyone. In fact, with this win, the Seminoles shattered their nine-game losing streak against Pittsburgh.

The charm works in the tenth time for FSU Seminoles women’s volleyball

Florida State University women’s volleyball team has poised itself perfectly in the league with a healthy win rate. Prior to facing Pittsburgh, the team had 16 wins and eight losses, and a winning percentage of 66.7. But, these stats didn’t matter whenever they faced the Panthers. However, NCAA Women’s Volleyball tweeted a shocking result via its official X handle to freeze everyone in their tracks.

According to the tweet, “BIG DUB FOR THE SEMINOLES TONIGHT!! @FSU_Volleyball defends Tully Gym in 5, defeating No. 6 Pitt. #NCAAWVB.” The Seminoles claimed the first two sets to send a message to Pittsburgh that things would be different this time. But, the Panthers made a quick recovery and equalized the score with two wins as well.

Everything came down to the final set. Just when everyone thought that the Panthers would trounce the Seminoles for the tenth consecutive time, they got blindsided by a staunch comeback. Making the tenth time their charm, FSU has set off a big wildfire in the NCAA. While the Seminoles have always fallen short against the Panthers, this time, they had come prepared.

Leaving no way out for the Pittsburgh Panthers

The Pittsburgh Panthers women’s volleyball team has almost gotten used to winning against any team they face, especially against FSU. However, things didn’t go as the Panthers predicted, as the Seminoles put up a mighty fight against them. While the Panthers still carried the dominant edge, they had no answer to the insane performance of the Seminoles.
