On the same note, Wisconsin’s Women’s Volleyball team has left the stone unturned to take the title of Big Ten Volleyball Championship home.

Wisconsin’s Volleyball team is all set to dominate the championship with exceptional skills. In addition, with its impressive battles on the court, it recently made it to the spotlight. Moreover, with its key players and impressive strategies, Wisconsin led a victorious win over Illinois in its recent match. Thus, it registered itself as one of the best battles won in Wisconsin’s volleyball matches.

Wisconsin Vs. Illinois: A Flawless Sweep 

Commenced at the end of August, the Big Ten Volleyball Championship features top teams from 14 schools. However, Wisconsin’s volleyball team has been playing incredibly well. In its recent match with Illinois, it scored well and displayed its prowess on the court. In addition, this No. 1 Wisconsin volleyball team scored 25-22, 25-15, and 25-12 against its opponent Illinois on Saturday night.

Although Team Illinois managed to take a three-point lead at 9-6 early, team Wisconsin responded with five points and three kills to take the lead. Despite the continuous trials of Team Illinois to cut the deficit (14-7), Team Wisconsin maintained a lead as a reminder of the seat. Thus taking over the second set of 25-15.  

Furthermore, Wisconsin’s key player, Sarah Franklin, enlightened the match, who led the way through 11 kills; Anna Smrek with 10 putaways; Carter Booth with eight kills; and CC Crawford, who recorded seven. However, other players who portrayed exceptional talent include Izzy Ashburn and MJ Hammil, who recorded double-doubles, 17 assists, and 10 digs. Amidst this whole, the coach how some plans of his own.

Wisconsin’s Coach Plan for the Big Ten Volleyball Championship

 The team Wisconsin is all set to take away the title of Big Ten Volleyball championship home. In addition, the team had the best opening in the program’s history and finished the match with a 12-4 advantage. Nonetheless, with the exceptional performance, the Badgers hit .388 and led the second-highest team hitting percentage of the year. 

The match that teams display on the court is not just limited to their hard work but also the hours of training and strategies put forward by their coaches. In an exclusive interview with UW Badgers, Kelly Sheffield said, “We served a lot better as the match went on. The first two times around, we put a lot of balls on their platforms… They had a lot of options. As the match went on, our serving was really good. We drove them, we dropped them, we moved them around and that makes blocking easier.”

Team Wisconsin has already etched its name in the history of Wisconsin’s volleyball with its incredible win and high team-hitting percentage. Nonetheless, as the next match of Wisconsin vs. Rutgers is scheduled for October 13th, the spectators eagerly await the next performance.
