USA Swept Up in Volleyball Mania as Fans Can’t Get Enough of Country’s First Real Pro Action

The Real Pro Volleyball fever is sweeping the nation and fans are head over heels for the on-court action. With the country’s authoritative volleyball body extending its support toward the Pro Volleyball Federation‘s new women’s professional league, fans from all over the country were excited to see how things panned out, and so far, things haven’t been disappointing.
After its opening weekend, things are looking brighter than before as fans are flocking to stadiums at every chance they’re getting. During the league’s first match between the Omaha Supernovas and the Atlanta Vibes, Nebraska’s volleyball fans set a new attendance record. And it looks like the trend is catching up fast as more and more loyalists are determined to make sure PVF’s opening lap doesn’t go unnoticed.

In a recent post on X by Kyle Shondell, the head coach of the Butler University volleyball team, the latest statistics are highlighted. According to the post, Real Pro Volleyball is well on its way to becoming a nationwide sensation, thanks to its incredible potential to propel women’s volleyball to never-before-seen heights. “PSA“, reads the first line of the post’s caption, highlighting its intentions to make more people aware of what the PVF brings to the table.

As per the volleyball pundit, 11,624 fans were in the stands for the match between the Supernovas and the Vibes in Omaha, while Columbus Fury’s match at Grand Rapids saw 7,805 fans making their way to the stadium.

If that wasn’t all, the Vibes’ last match also attracted well over 5,000 fans in Orlando to come and witness the thrilling game for themselves. The frenzy over Real Pro Volleyball has been building for months
The craze over the nascent professional league has been sending out a ripple across the country since its announcement. With investors and celebrities scurrying to get their piece of the action, prominent volleyball stars (both former and current) from all over the country have been drafted by the newly established teams.
