Former Nebraska star rolls out her vision for the match

In the recent Tweet by Huskers Radio Network, it released a preview of this week’s episode of “The Dig.” In it, Lindsay Peterson spoke elaborately about how Georgia Tech is as a team to understand the ‘big keys’ against them. “Georgia Tech’s a very talented team, they had a huge win at Florida, they showed a lot of resilience in that match, win in five at Florida, it was a tough environment and so we know that that’s not going to faze them to come in here and play at our home court and so we have to be ready for a battle,” Peterson remarked.

Peterson is currently in her 17 year as director of operations for Nebraska Huskers. A former Husker volleyball captain, she dominated the fields as one of the best defensive players. And, now she has a vision to take Huskers to the finals. She explained, “We tell our players it’s three games by two points and that’s the mindset they have to have.” However, Georgia is not going to be an easy opponent according to Peterson.

Nebraska Huskers to face fire, says Lindsay Peterson

Talking about the Georgia Tech team during the interview, Peterson said, “Georgia Tech is a team that has several foreigners on it. They have a couple of players from Brazil, Argentina, New Zealand…They’re a well-coached team, they’re a fiery team, they play with a lot of emotion and so we’re going to be. It’s going to be a challenge for us to match their emotion.” However, she has a piece of advice for Nebraska to overcome the Georgian challenge.

Peterson adds, “Stay consistent on our side and not let the highs be too high or the lows be too low and that’s been a strength of our team.” The biggest strength of Huskers is probably that they understand that Georgia Tech will pose a strong competition. Peterson adds that it’s going to be a battle, but nonetheless, Huskers are ready to face it all.
