Huskers alum share their motivational speeches

In a social media post by the official account of Team USA, these three former Nebraska Huskers players share their thoughts on what kind of mentality the girls should have as they face off against Pittsburg. Larson gets to the point directly and states that feeling nervous right now shouldn’t be something to worry the girls. She says, “It means you care“, and claims that’s a good thing to help judge a person. She even went to the extent of saying that she’d happily go to battle with a player who feels the pressure at the right time.

Robinson Cook, on the other hand, seemed confident about the girls and hyped up saying, “You’re gonna go out there and give them your best…and we’re gonna kick their ass*es“. While Robison Cook got a little too excited about national television, Wong-Orantes retained her poise even while sharing words of passion. Reiterating the words of Coach Cook, Wong-Orantes said irrespective of what they’ll be doing, the Nebraska Huskers will have to “…trust it“.
