This season’s NCAA Tournament has been quite different from other seasons. From selecting 32 automatically qualified teams to introducing KPI, the NCAA has been taking unexpected turns. Along the same line, two eligible teams, Wisconsin and Miami’s volleyball teams, locked horns to compete with each other.

Wisconsin has made it to round two of the event by defeating team Jackson State beginning NCAA with a remarkable score of 3-0. On the other hand, Miami knocked off UNI in the first round with 3-1. Unfortunately, team Miami will not be proceeding further in the tournament as Wisconsin knocked off the team with a 3-0.

Wisconsin advances with a clean sweep

Wisconsin’s volleyball team, aka Badgers, is all set to dominate the NCAA tournament this season. In a recent showdown, team Wisconsin grabbed the opportunity to add points to its score by defeating the opponent team. The recent tweet by Wisconsin Badgers was captioned as, “A 𝒔𝒘𝒆𝒆𝒕 victory for BadgerVB.”

In the first set of the match against team Miami, team Wisconsin recorded a 23-25 win by overcoming the tough competition provided by team Miami. The Badgers even bettered their score in the subsequent sets as they crushed Miami 25-15 and 25-17 to seal off the match.

Eventually, with a remarkable win in the recent showdown against team Miami, Wisconsin eliminated team Miami and secured its place in the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament. The major reason behind the latest triumph of the Wisconsin Badgers team is its outstanding and hardworking players who make each team showdown one of a kind.

Although the recent victory against Miami was a combined effort of team Wisconsin, some of the team’s key players displayed prowess on the volleyball turf. While Anna Smrek secured the highest individual score of 17 points in today’s match, Sarah Franklin scored 14.5 with a hitting percentage of .286.

Even though spectators were quite sure about the result of this recent showdown, team Wisconsin is required to gear up for the next round of the NCAA Tournament. The major anticipation is for Wisconsin vs. Nebraska at the NCAA Tournament, but this will only happen if both teams knock off the opponents in the way.
