Former alpine skier Lindsey Vonn finally made her Wimbledon appearance joining her tennis buddy. While collecting her 82 World Cup titles she crossed paths with many athletes who shared the champion mentality like hers. Since retiring in 2019, the former Olympic skier is now blending in new settings. By exploring new endeavors, catching up with friends, and taking in new experiences, Vonn is living life on the edge.

As the eventful Wimbledon season commenced, Vonn reunites with the Swiss maestro Roger Federer at the tournament. The two reunited and made lasting memories at the most prestigious tennis event. Recently, Vonn dropped a photo dumb from her debut appearance.

On July 5, the Alpine Skier attended the Wimbledon Purple Carpet event on Day 3 of the tournament. In her Instagram post, she posed wearing a bright yellow crisp shirt paired with pink and beige Gucci pants and white heels. She is seen in a series of eight photos alongside pro tennis players, namely Iga Swiatek, Ons Jabeur, Jannik Sinner, Ana Bogdan, Rennae Stubbs, and her dear friend Roger Federer. Vonn sure turned her fan mode on as she took pictures with a handful of other notable personalities in her series.

Vonn and Federer have been long time friends who connect over shared liveliness and, of course, their love for sports. Back in 2014, just two days after Wimbledon the tennis GOAT challenged Vonn to play tennis together on top of a glacier in the Swiss Alps. While the OG fans know, the hype was real! The unusual tennis match had many spectators cheering for the pair, similar to the reactions, that Vonn’s comment section on her recent post garnered.

The cross-sports fans paraded to shower their idols with praises, one even flexed their wins saying, ?Champions. How many trophies between the both of you? At least a 100???
