While the American snowboarder Shaun White will play his last Olympics in Beijing this year, his girlfriend Nina Dobrev will be cheering for him back home. The 33-year-old actress has shown every bit of support for him after coming into a relationship with White and she is really excited about him taking the last step of his snowboarding journey.
The three-time Olympic gold medalist has already announced his departure from snowboarding after Beijing Winter Olympics 2022. It was a tough decision for him, but he seems to have the complete support of his partner Nina, in whatever endeavors he has planned for himself in the future.

The Vampire Diary actress is really excited about the Winter Olympics as it’s going to be Shaun’s last Olympics. It appeared she and her friends were looking forward to it as she said, “We’ll be anxiously watching from home and cheering him on. I’m very, very excited for him. I can’t wait.”

It’s the last time we’ll be seeing the American legend in the Olympics and everyone will expect a memorable departure from him. Though there were certain doubts about his fitness during the qualifiers, he still made his way into the team for the Winter Olympics. The 35-year-old is three times Olympic gold medalist and one of the best snowboarders the world has ever seen.
An injury during the practice made him realize that it’s time he should move on from the game. Before landing in Beijing for the Olympics, he said in an interview, “I was in Austria. And on the chairlift ride, the mountain was closing and no one was around, and I was watching the sun go down, and it just hit me. I was like, ‘this is it, these are the signs.”
