The USA’s Men’s Freestyle wrestling group has been making waves throughout the wrestling world. The team kicked off the Zagreb Open with an exceptional gold medal effort from one of the team’s key contenders. Besides this, Jason Nolf secured a gold medal, while three bronze medals from other wrestlers contributed to the team’s total today.

Even though Jason made it to secure back-to-back gold medals from the tournament, the major appraisal of him was a lightning-quick pin. Eventually, this 36-second pin became a major reason for the social media storm over the last couple of hours on the internet. Interestingly, not only Jason’s spectators but wrestling stars are also commenting on Jason’s incredible moves.

Jason Nolf’s “cement job” hailed

To share the moment of Nolf’s triumph, the United World Wrestling shared a video clip of him portraying his astonishing moves on the mat. Along with the video, they penned, “35 seconds pin Jason NOLF takes out Georgios KOUGIOUMTSIDIS.” Within a couple of seconds after the video clip was posted, it started to surface online, attracting some renowned wrestlers’ attention across the globe.

David Taylor, sharing the clip, commented, “The ole cement job!” while reposting the tweet by United World Wrestling. However, Taylor is not the only person appreciating Nolf.

As Jason Nolf is a four-time national finalist and a three-time NCAA wrestling champion from Penn State University, a former teammate, Bo Nickal, also made it to the spotlight. Nickal also reposted the tweet and captioned it, “Beast“. Jason Nolf’s performance was a continuation of his matches from the recent past.

A reiteration of the previous wrestling triumphs

On Wednesday, Jason Nolf made it back-to-back gold medals while securing the 2023 title as a formidable force at the Zagreb Tournament. In the morning showdown, Zagreb concluded the match with 4-0.

In the final match, Jason punished the opponent, Hossein Abouzaripashakolaei from team Iran, by a 10-1 decision in the 74kg weight class. Consequently, this made Jason secure gold at the event.

Impressively, now Nolf has a collection of three golds from the three international outings, two in the Zagreb Open and one in the Bill Farrell Memorial International Tournament. Now, Nolf is gearing up to compete in the 74kg weight class at the upcoming Olympics 2024. Even though Jason won the past three international outings, the Olympics is not as easy as it may seem.
