Logan Stieber is among the most prolific wrestlers in American Wrestling history and features an astonishing resume even after retiring as a wrestler.

Along the same lines, once again, Logan Stieber has found a place for himself in a coveted list of awardees. Consequently, the Ohio State Buckeyes have decided to celebrate their beloved coach’s birthday in a nostalgic way to showcase his name’s relevance as a Hall of Fame inductee.

The icon who spearheaded Ohio’s maiden national wrestling title

As Logan Stieber turns 33 today, Big Ten not only showered light on the illustrious career of Logan at NCAA but also made a short video clip to remind. In addition, Big Ten Wrestling posted a video of him and penned, “HBD, Logan Stieber! Let’s relive the 4x NCAA champ & @OhioStAthletics Hall of Famer’s greatness.” The video posted on the Twitter account features an array of exceptional moves by Logan that helped him to register his name in the annals of NCAA Wrestling. Besides this, Big Ten added short clips from 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015 NCAA wrestling showdowns where Logan emerged as a dominant force. In his career, he has rewritten several records.

Born in 1991, Logan boasts the impressive record of being the first wrestler in the history of Big Ten to win four national titles consecutively. Riding on Ogan’s fierceness, Ohio State captured its first team National Championship defeating Iowa in 2015. That year saw him being awarded the NCAA Most Dominant Wrestler award.

Apart from this, he is the only second wrestler in the history of American wrestling who won both the Jr. Dan Hodge and the Hodge trophies. After performing exceptionally in the collegiate wrestling arenas, Logan decided to share his moves with the young generation of athletes. Eventually, he became an assistant coach for the Ohio Buckeyes team. Although he concluded his glorious career as a wrestler in 2013, he is still adding feathers of honor to his cap.

His long list of achievements started to extend two years back when he got elected to the Ohio State Athletics Hall of Fame for his contribution to the wrestling team as a coach. This glimpse into his myriad achievements rendered him suitable and deserving of the Hall of Fame Honors. Logan will be awarded a National Wrestling Hall of Fame during the 47th honors weekend this year on 31st May-1st June.
