The world witnessed her latest exploits at the U23 World Championship in Albania, where she registered back-to-back inhuman wrestling spectacles. In fact, the elite wrestler made it to the finals without conceding even a single point in her last three matches.

Kennedy Blades becomes epicenter of an earthquake in Albania

Kennedy Blades wrestles in the 76kg weight class. The Chicago wrestling talent is a Pan American Games gold medalist. Blades first made headlines after her stellar performances in the trials of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics at the age of 17. United World Wrestling recently made a tweet displaying yet another mind-blowing achievement of Blades.

The tweet carried a video showcasing Kennedy Blades, ramming through the defenses of her opponents and securing multiple points. The tweet carried the caption, “Here are the scores of Kennedy BLADES’ three U23 Worlds matches today. Semifinals – df. K. GAUCAITE. 10-0. Quarterfinals – df. I. ZHANATAYEVA. 10-0. Qualification – df. P. Monika SLOMSKA , 10-0.”

Blades managed to pierce her way through the Olympics with three massively flawless victories. This made her the epicenter of the spotlight in Albania, as she stood atop the podium. In fact, Blades rounded up her semi-final wrestling bout in just 28 seconds.

Kennedy Blades harbors a very unrelenting and offensive fighting style. The Pan Am Champion spent forced technical falls in all her matches by outscoring her opponents with a 10-0 gap. Moreover, her opponents hardly lasted more than three minutes against her on the mat. Interestingly, her ticket to the final was dispatched to her even sooner, as Lithuania’s Kamile Gaucaite lost in just 28 seconds.
