Jordan Burroughs is a six-time World Wrestling Champion and one of the most recognizable faces of American wrestling. The 35-year-old regularly posts updates on his Instagram page for his 914,000+ followers. A recent social media update made by him has everyone’s alarms blaring as he hinted towards a Disney project. In fact, if this turns out to be true, he will directly work with a $147.46 billion entertainment industry giant.

Jordan Burroughs to move from wrestling mats to the studios

Jordan Burroughs has a shining shelf of medals to show for his dazzling wrestling career. While many wrestlers struggle with weight transitions, Burroughs has won multiple gold medals in two different weight classes. The American wrestling powerhouse has dominated his opponents in both the 74kg and the 79kg category.

His latest Instagram story, however, plans to leave everyone behind in entertainment as well. Burroughs, who goes by “All I See is Gold” on Instagram, posted an animated image of himself in his story. The image also carried the logo of the entertainment industry giant, Disney on top of the art.

While it seemed like a regular piece of fan art, considering it wasn’t an original Disney creation, the caption Burroughs added to it said something else. Apparently, the 6x World Champion wrote “coming soon.”

With this, Burroughs is all set to make his mark in the entertainment realm. Interestingly, as he looks forward to step foot in another venture, the wrestler took the spotlight through his animated avatar, where he can be seen donning his blue wrestling gear.

Jordan Burroughs stands as the undisputed leader of the American wrestling scene at the moment. He has already won six world championship gold medals and an Olympic gold as well.

Moreover, he has also claimed a combined 10 gold medals from the Pan Am Games and Championships. This makes his track record one of the most valuable ones compared to other established wrestlers in any weight class. The addition of Burroughs to the American wrestling team has improved its medal-winning rate tremendously.

While the US struggled to stand on the podium as much before his arrival in 2011, the air changed after Burroughs made his entrance. Team USA rose from a downtrodden 22nd overall place in the 2010 World Championships to the third position in 2011, when Burroughs claimed his first world title. Cut to 2017, America won its first team gold medal since 1995. The 35-year-old still has a lot to give and fans will look forward to seeing their champ bring more glory to the US.
