Bo Bassett from Pennsylvania is having one hell of a time. In November, the Young Guns Wrestling Club member won the Clarion Open and now has his eyes set on bigger goals. As the road to the 2024 Paris Olympics opens up, the wrestling prodigy is making sure no stone is left unturned as Bassett hopes to make a triumphant senior debut. In a recent social media post, Bo has shared ways to stay in shape and on top of his game.

The recruitment season is only a few months away and the Bishop McCort Catholic student is already eyeing some of the most prestigious names in the country. While the nation’s best colleges will surely boast incredible depth to their roster with Bassett on the team, Bo aims to make sure all promising wrestlers can achieve their full potential by following certain habits daily.

In his latest Instagram post, the 17-year-old wrestler talks about how he maintains composer and retains his A-game.

After wishing his fans a cheerful holiday season, Bassett shared his ideas on how wrestlers can “improve.”He says keeping a clear head about priorities is a good way to start the journey to achieving greatness. “Do something in your free time or chase your dreams and chase your goal,” is something you need to ask yourself, says Bo.

Bassett says watching your previous matches from the season is an important part of training. Analyzing not just the matches where he lost but also reviewing his winning bouts helps him pinpoint issues and improve his skills. “There’s stuff to learn from all of my matches”, says the wrestler as he sits in front of a jaw-dropping display of medals and achievements of his career.

Learning about role models and people he admire is another thing that helps Bassett keep his head in the game. Studying wrestling as a sport helps him gain more knowledge and make sure that his ideas come to his aid when he’s in a tight spot.
