“It’s awesome. I mean, the group is incredible. And it’s a very easy group to feel at home with. One of the biggest things that I noticed when I came in here is the way the guys work. And when you work that way, you work the way this team does, you know, you have a lot of fun and you build a lot of unity together because of that,” Marchand mentioned in the post-game press conference. He just netted the game-winning goal against the Toronto Maple Leafs in overtime! He’s totally amazed by his new NHL franchise.

Marchand talked about how he quickly noticed the incredible work ethic and sense of teamwork among everyone. “And obviously the team has been through a lot of big moments and tough moments as well. And, you know, you bond over that. And coming in, everybody, you know, embraced me and welcomed me. And I feel like I’ve built some really, really good friendships already in a very short period of time,” said the hockey forward. The Panthers might not always be at the top of their game, but according to him, they really know how to push through tough times and fight back. After spending just a few weeks with them, he has really embraced what it means to be a Panther.
